Life by Design is owned by Steven and Jessica Ford. They have a 16-year-old son, Dominic, that sometimes tags along on estimates. Dom really enjoys meeting your pets!  

Steven ran Life by Design by himself for several years until he met Jessica. Jessica actually messaged Steven on Facebook asking for an estimate! Lol She was wanting to get her brick painted, but it was January so that job was going to have to wait until the springtime. Steven had a huge crush on her, once he looked at her Facebook page and tried to think of anything he could to keep a conversation going!  She had to remind him that the relationship was strictly professional, but he was relentless. They quickly became inseparable and got married in June of 2023!  

Customers love hiring a male and female team! They are successfully able to serve all areas of a customer’s project. Steven will discuss with you what all goes into the paint job and pricing, while Jessica will find a date for your project and help you decide on the perfect color! They have several crews that do the painting. Steven and Jessica then have the freedom to manage your project and make sure your job goes as smoothly as possible! 

Life by Design partners with Sherwin Williams. In 2025, they completed over 330 paint projects. They service the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area, anywhere from Lebanon, Ohio to Verona, Kentucky.
